As October sets foot in Bacolod’s calendar, colorful costumes, visitors from all over the world, festive activities and music dawns in the streets of the city to honor the annual and month-long celebration of MassKara Festival. The event has already grown so popular to many tourists around the world because of how festive the events always are, proving to everyone why it is truly called as the “City Of Smiles”.

Tons of highlights and events await you during the MassKara Festival and one of them is the Street Dancing Competition , being one of the main events held in Bacolod Public Plaza where dancers groove to the rhythm of Latin music while wearing masks and colorful costumes.

As we enter into the night, another street dance competition called Electric MassKara will also be held but this time, dancers wear masks with colorful lights making it a more creative performance as they play with the lights.

MassKara Festival is also a time to show off some of the best and brightest products and people of Bacolod during the sports event, beauty pageant, garden show, agricultural trade fair and musical concerts! These events will be scheduled for the whole month and announced by either the city government of Bacolod or the event organizers.
